I thought she was talking about a brahmachari until she said,
"Someone gave the library seven books of..." "Proust.  Me.
It was me.  Please don't give them away."  We're keeping them.  

Saswati drops by, looking for the broom with the long handle
to clean spiderwebs from the ceiling, but Hridaya has stolen it again.
"'Was it you that took it?'  'Nope, wasn't me.'  Kids. Nothing but kids."

what's happening in your book now?

The only book I took back with me to the ashram (this time – when I first came, I brought this one).  In a fit of renunciation/purging of the cubby I gave it, along with the five volumes of Proust I bought in Cochin, to the children's and visitor's library, but when it showed up yesterday on the sale table outside of the flea market, I took it back without paying for it.
