Everything tomorrow will be geared toward getting rid of the sour milk. Fantans and irish soda bread (both first-timers), chocolate cake done three ways (an indestructible recipe): cake for the indian students, cupcakes iced with the leftover prasad coconut cream frosting (coconut from amma's room! we've been splurging on the chilled water from the two coconuts she left behind. . . not only are they full of shakti, but they're so cold. . . chilled things take on supernatural dimensions here by themselves, since refrigeration is weak when present at all) and a whoopie pie experiment.

The curd turned to cheese again so it looks like apple cheesecake, too. I'd like to make a shortbread crust, but there are leftover butter cookies to use up. I might end up making cheese to add to it with the rest of the milk, & document the process with photos; I'm still elated by the separation and skimming process, the alchemy of it, the rising to the top.
